Here at Associated, we love to show our appreciation for and recognize our employees. Reflecting back to our October 2015 post, Why Are Long Term Employees Important, we know how important it is to retain top talent and we strive to make sure our employees feel that they are truly valued. Our Annual Sales Luncheon is an event we have held for many years. It’s a day for our sales team to enjoy the afternoon and reflect on the milestones of the prior year as well as to highlight what new and exciting things are up and coming. At this event, we also award the Sales Person of Year, as well as the winner of the Doug Harrington Award.

This year the team got together in Lafayette, CA at The Cooperage American Grille. Their Board Room was perfect for our event and the attentive staff ensured our delicious food and beverages were well timed. We definitely want to send a shout out to both Jason, our Server, and Jennifer, the Manager, for keeping things running smoothly. Here is a big ‘thank you’ to you and to The Cooperage!

This year, the Doug Harrington Award went to Ron Scadina, from our San Jose Branch. Congratulations Ron! The Doug Harrington Award recognizes excellence in sales and is named after our former employee. Doug was respected by his fellow employees for his support and positive, professional attitude and he achieved his goals 100%+ effort while contributing something special to Associated Services as well. 2015 winner Ron Scadina, was recognized for this reward for his outstanding work during 2015.

Our second award recognizes the biggest contributor to overall sales and was given to Kimberly Lenz. Congratulations Kim! Kimberly is our Snack Department Manager and our Director of Sales Development. She humbly shared the award with the rest of her snack team, Leanna Gallegos and Carly Corippo and highlighted the group effort it took to pull everything together.
