We've strived to conduct business in an environmentally friendly manner for many years. Not only do we espouse it, and carry environmentally sound coffees and products, but we live it every day.

• Chemical-free De-liming - We're the only office coffee service we know in the Bay Area that uses the state-of-the-art Universal Bead Blaster Chamber to de-lime our coffee brewing equipment rather than the traditional method that utilizes harsh acid. This sand blaster type method of removing lime build-up on coffee brewer reservoirs and internal tank parts is not only friendlier to our equipment, it also eliminates harmful chemicals from being dumped in the drainage system.
• Gas-saving Distribution - By distributing our products from five area branches, our trucks spend less time on the road, resulting in less pollution and fuel consumption, not to mention allowing us to spend more time helping our customers because we spend less time driving.
• Recycle, Reuse, Reduce - Like you, we reuse and recycle everything we can. We use energy efficient lighting and have substantially reduced our paper use thanks to electronic invoicing and billing. We recycle all of our cardboard, and due to the nature of our business there's an abundance of it. We sort our own garbage and, using our own trucks, take it to the appropriate locations for handling and recycling.
• Reusable Water Bottles - Our two water bottling plants are "green friendly." When returned, the bottles are sanitized, then refilled and reused, not thrown away when empty! Thus, our bottles last a very long time and leave very little carbon footprint, unlike single-use bottles of water. Even the used water bottle caps are recycled!
